Thick Soup of Potatoes

Ingredients, serves 2

  • 1/2 kg potatoes, cut to small cubes
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 l water
  • 1 quart bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt, pepper, marjoram
  • 4 Frankfurter (Wiener) sausages (2 pairs)

Preparation

Heat oil in a big pot, roast the chopped onions, add some flour, stir well and let get light brown. Add water and the cube of bouillon. Stir. Add the cubes of potato, season with salt, pepper, marjoram and stew until potatoes are soft (about 15 minutes). Cut sausages in 1cm slices and let stew with the soup for another 5 minutes.
