Sirloin Steaks on Rucola

Ingredients, serves 2

  • 2 steaks of sirloin (150 g each)
  • 50 g rucola
  • 2 tomatoes
  • salt, pepper, olive oil

Preparation

Cut the edges of the steaks to prevent them from getting shorter while roasting. Season with salt and pepper. Roast on both sides in hot oil - 5 or 10 minutes until done.

Meanwhile cut tomato slices,place on baking tray covered with waxed paper, let them bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes.Salt just before serving.

Put rucola on the plates, sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper, place the beef and the tomatoes on the rucola.

You can serve mashed potatoes as a side dish.
