Chicken Fricassee

Ingredients, serves 6

  • 1 chicken
  • 250 g frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, cauliflower etc.)
  • 125 g butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 l water
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg

Preparation

Salt the chicken on all sides and fry it in the oven (just as fried chicken), then remove the whole skin and the bones, then cut the chichen in cubes. Let butter melt in a pot, add flour, stir well until light brown, then add water, vegetebles and chicken cubes, sir well, season, reduce heat and let stew for about 20 minutes.

Serve with bread dumplings.
