Beefsteak
Preparation Time:

Ingredients, serves 4
- 4 striploin steaks (about 3 cm thick and about 180 g each), bound round with a pice of thread
- salt, pepper, oil
Preparation
Salt steaks on both sides, season with pepper. Heat oil in a pan, let the steaks fry for 5 minutes or more or less (rare? medium? well done?). Before serving let them rest for 2 minutes.
We served our striploin steaks with
GRAPPA POTATOES
4 big potatoes
1/4kg sea-salt
8 cl grappa
Pour the salt into an oven dish,place the whole potatoes on the salt and let bake in the oven at 160°C for one hour. Remove the dish from the oven, cut a cross into the tops and remove a little bit from the potato. Now fill 2 cl grappa for each potatoe very carefully into the small hole and put the dish back into the oven for further 15 minutes.
