Ingredients, serves 4

  • 1/2 kg onions (4 onions)
  • 3 tablespoons of paprika, sweet
  • 1/2 kg beef, cut in cubes
  • 1 teaspoonful tomato puree
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • marjoram,salt, vinegar, oil

Preparation of Goulash (Viennese style)

Roast the finely chopped onions in a high pot in hot oil. Stir in the paprika and add the beef cubes. Roast shortly, then add 1/2 l water and a pinch of vinegar. Stir well,add tomato puree,minced garlic,salt and marjoram an let cook for about 2 hours. Keep the lid on the pot.
